The truth about travelers

"The traveler sees what he sees,
the tourist see what he has come to see."
G. K. Chesterton

I read an article on the Huffpost Hawaii blog. It is on the philosophy of traveling (the truth about traveling) . I don't consider my self a travel lover, but it made me think about not just traveling, but further more about the value of living a simple life and not stopping to explore and learn new things everyday.

Many times we get stuck in one place for a long time. We need to find ways to explore and learn new things and we can't do that if we remain stuck in one place. We need to get unstuck. We need to travel not for luxury but to meet new people and search for new ideas and discover interesting things. The world is a big place, we need to open our mind and think. Not everything we are going to see is right and good, but we need to think like a traveler and life is a journey we must take.
