How to take notes in class? using Cornel notes

Learning how to learn is the most important skill of all skills.


This video will help you make good notes in class. This is a good study skill that will help you organize your learning of the language in college . Learn to use this system in every class. You also need to also to use a simple abbreviations  and symbols while making notes.

 abbreviation system- نظام للاختصارات

The words that you always use while making notes can be abbreviated:

Home work: H.M
Class work : C.W
grammar :   Gram.
communication: comm.
Reading and writing: W/R
Noun:     N. اسم
Verb:       V. فعل
adjectives: adj. صفة
pronouns: pron. ضمير
punctuation: Punct. علامات  الترقيم 
prepositions: prep. اداة جر
Amr: American English
Brit: British English
etc. and so on الي اخره
VS:  against  مقابل للمقارنة
imp: important  مهم
info: information معلومات
W/ : with مع
W/o : without بدون
abbr: abbreviation اختصار
sb: somebody شخص ما

Use symbols:استخدم الرموز 

You can also use symbols for words you always use while making notes:

= equal or the same مثل او يساوي
+ or أو
?   question - not clear سؤال او امر غير واضح
#  number رقم
 eg : for exampleعلى سبيل المثال

*  :  remember this - نقطة مهمة

• Make a list of the symbols and abbreviation you are using in your notebook. These are only some examples. Use what you need.
